Why does Doom 2016 feels so smooth – From /r/Doom

Its weird because im playing the game at 60fps and yet it feels like it’s running at 140fps

Even on a youtube video like this for example https://youtu.be/fFrgnG6xAcob2DrO4d3iyRT1jBj?t=7m17s i can’t put my finger on why exactly but the game just looks so silky smooth its crazy

After playing 2016 and Eternal, when i go back to a lot of other fps games they just feel so choppy in comparison

I dont understand what is it about the modern Doom games that makes them look and feel so good and smooth to play and watch
