Was there ever a fix for the steam achievements not popping for those who came from the Bethesda client? – From /r/Doom

Just wanted to see if there was ever a fix for the issues with steam achievements not popping for doom eternal for those of us who finished the game when it was part of bethesda launcher? Also if I just delete my saves or start a new game is it possible to get the achievements again or what is the best way to go about this as I would like to get all my achievements done for this game?
