Hi Everyone,

I am a long time fan of the genre, and recently have been toying with the roguelikes. Most I have liked, and I was really excited to try Nightmare Reaper because of everything I’ve heard.

Unfortunately, the aiming and movement feels off. In most games, I bunny hop everywhere and shoot while I do so with good accuracy, and it is that fast paced feel that I love about the genre.

But Nightmare Reaper? I felt like I had no choice but to stand on the other side of a door and let the enemies come to me through the choke point because any time I went in hard and fast I basically missed all my shots and then got dead. In less than 2 hours of play, this became incredibly boring and repetitive.

I went to my good friend Google, and was SHOCKED that I could not find anyone else talking about this. Am I really the only one who feels this way? Can anyone else talk to me about their experience with this? The game seems so awesome otherwise, but I can’t get past how wrong the aiming/movement feels.

I’m basically trying to decide if there’s something I’m missing, or if I just need to return it. Any comments would be appreciated!

EDIT: I play on PC. Thanks again!
