Hello! I’m using ioquake3 on Mac, trying to get Quake 3 Fortress 2.2 to work and I’m having trouble. I have the “q3f2” file, i’ve put it in “baseq3” file and that didn’t work, so I put it in the “ioquake3” file thinking that might work, and Q3F still isn’t appearing in the mod section in game. Not sure what i’m doing wrong. Would anyone be able to help me?

Hey everyone,

We’ve been exploring the idea of putting together a limited-edition INCISION vinyl, shaped like a bloody effin’ sawblade, packed with the heaviest, bloodiest cuts from the OST. No filler, just fast, brutal tracks.

Vinyl limitation = ~15 min per side

Theme = high-energy “bangers only”

Here’s the test tracklist we mocked up:

SIDE A

  • Incision’s Theme Ep.1 – 1:29
  • E1M2 – Fiery Regutstination – 2:28
  • E1M3 – Spastic Meat Splatters – 2:37
  • E1M5 – Quad Tetanus – 1:34

  • E3Boss2 – NeuroGrind Overload – 2:26

Here’s where you come in:

  • Which tracks are absolute must-haves for you?
  • Anything crucial missing from the “banger package”?
  • Would you back a Kickstarter/pre-order for this (maybe with extra goodies)?

Would a collection of CDs (3) with all the tracks be a better choice?

Nothing’s set in stone yet — we’re just gauging interest and want to build this with the community.

Would you play different era worlds of DOOM? Like Cowboy Era, Samurai Era, Pirate Era, etc?

So imagine playing as Doom Slayer on a black horse with epic spiked armor and glowing eyes and a fiery mane. Galloping through a hell desert landscape. Shooting with long rifles, bows, hell revolvers, etc.

Riding a hell train – tearing through the cars and on top. Shooting through a corruptef western town. Cowboy themed demons with hats and dusters and bone armor.

Samurai Doom Slayer using a hellbladr katana. Where demons are based off old Japanese artwork and samurai armor. Facing Oni and Kappas. Having a wide variety of hell themed samurai and ninja weapons.

Piraye doom Slayer with a kickass horrific bone ship that shoots flaming metal skulls, giant grapple hooks, sailing on an ocean of blood and gore…

Lets get wacky with it!

I was thinking that the devs can be bold and make another doom in the spirit of doom 3 as you being a marine/sentinal battling an invasion with the ending consisting of you assisting the slayer in stopping the invasion.

A full on doom 64 remake

Or push doom to the side and reboot quake.

What are your thoughts?

Black Tower

Wow, just finished Black Tower for the first time. Took me an hour! How is this 1:30 par??

While not the most enjoyable or prettiest level, it was certainly one the most genious levels I played so far. No Rest for the Living is still my favorite but this level is something else. Must have blown people’s mind back when it released? I only got to play the shareware Doom back in the days.
