/r/ShadowWarrior Subreddit — Just beat Shadow Warrior (2013) on Heroic. – From /r/ShadowWarrior
Go to Source
If you have read about the Heroic difficulty on various forums you probably got the impression that it’s much harder than it is. After beating it today, I can say it’s not that bad.
I died four times (twice to bosses) over my Heroic playtrough. I beat it on Insane before trying Heroic, and things are mostly the same between the two difficulties, the only change being how strong katana warpers are. There are only two hard fights.
So if you are like me and you avoided going for the achievement, because you heard how hard it is, I’d advise you to give it a try. But if you are someone that just wants to have fun, I wouldn’t recommend Heroic. Big enemies are just too spongy and numerous and the guns suck. If I ever replay the game I’ll probably play it on difficulty below Insane, because I felt those same problems on Insane too, I just ignored them since it was my first playtrough.

/r/ShadowWarrior Subreddit — Shadow Warrior (2013) Tips – From /r/ShadowWarrior
Go to Source
I played this game near enough when it came out and struggled a little learning the intricacies of the game and felt like I never really understood the game in order to get good at it, what enemies are weak to etc.
I enjoy the game a lot but would like to get better at it and be able to complete a heroic run of the game. Any gameplay tips anyone can share such as monster weaknesses and tricks?

/r/ShadowWarrior Subreddit — 💥 Into classic FPS games like Doom, Quake, Blood, Duke 3D or Half-Life 1? I run a FB group focused on high-quality FANMADE content — join in – From /r/ShadowWarrior

I run a Facebook group dedicated to serious boomer shooter content — focused on the craft behind fan-made gameplay, map design, and engine work for games like Doom, Quake, Blood, Duke Nukem 3D, Half-Life, and other shooters from the 90s and early 2000s.
This isn’t just another meme dump. I post:
If you’re a Facebook user who enjoys seeing daily high-octane action paired with thoughtful, handcrafted level design on their timeline — this is for you.
The group’s already grown past 700 members, and it’s built for people who still respect the art & skill of the most dedicated fans behind these classics.

/r/ShadowWarrior Subreddit — Blown Away – From /r/ShadowWarrior
Go to Source
Ok, I’m gonna be honest: I’m very new to Shadow Warrior. I only discovered it within the last couple months thanks to a YouTuber who goes by Civvie 11, whose material I absolutely love.
I started watching the Pro Wang videos and started wondering where this game has been all my life, so I bought the Classic Redux on Steam.
Now, my favourite game of all time is Doom, but I love all the classic FPS games from the 90’s and this game has quickly become my second favourite. I started a game on Who Wants Wang for my first full playthrough and I’m hooked. Like, I’ve started getting baked and playing a couple of levels before bed and it’s such a cathartic feeling to send a nuke in and clear the fucking room real fast.
I love this game and I eventually wanna try a run on No Pain No Gain and would love some good tips if anyones got suggestions or tactics!
Thanks in advance, this fucking game is amazing!
P.S: Fucking shadow ninjas.

Do any of the 3 Shadow warriors have graded missions? Like getting an D rank for doing poorly or S rank for going above and beyond. Or are they just fast paced shooter/slasher.

/r/ShadowWarrior Subreddit — How do you unlock the Legendary Box bounty mission? – From /r/ShadowWarrior
Go to Source
Somewhere years ago an answer in this sub suggests that the mission should be available right after the main storyline where Ameonna betrayed you. However, right afterwards I checked the bounty board and didn’t see it available. Do I have to complete several bounty missions beforehand to actually unlock Legendary Box mission? Since I have plenty of other bounty missions incomplete.

/r/ShadowWarrior Subreddit — Do people still play SW2 – From /r/ShadowWarrior
Go to Source
I don’t understand why we didn’t get any SW2 mods, DLCs and addons. I’m reinstalling it right now because that’s one of the best games I’ve ever played but I want new content so bad!
I played SW3 but it lacks loot, rpg elements and coop support, and gameplay feels so squishy and rough!
Do you know any cool mods for SW2 or a game that plays exactly like it?
Thanks!

Shadow Warrior 3 News — Shadow Warrior patch 1.05 New Game+ – Shadow Warrior 3 News
Go to Source
The new Shadow Warrior 3 update includes a heavily requested feature, and that is the “New Game+” game mode!
Start any level of the game with all of your weapons in the inventory. The weapon pickups are still present in pre-defines spots on locations just like in the regular campaign, but this time around they simply add ammunition to that weapon in the Inventory.
You also get to keep all your upgrades and progress for challenges you haven not unlocked yet.
On top of that! There are new special challenges specifically made for New Game+ that are added under the “Challenges” tab.
Killing Bunnies in “New Game+” deals damage to the player but does not apply “The Curse”.
However in the player is permanently cursed and a special version of Oni-Hanma demons now appear on pre-defined arenas more often throughout the game and sometimes in larger numbers with one encounter.
Each of these new challenges consists of description of the task that Player must perform, progress counter and the new reward called “Warrior Point”. Player obtains one Warrior Point for each Special Challenge. Claiming that point builds up the “Warrior Rank” with which you get to unlock new weapon skins, which you claim from the newly added “Rewards” section in the main menu.
There are many more new additions and quality of life changes, so check a look at the full changelog!
