Mandella effect? – From /r/Doom

Sofor quite a while, I had always vividly remembered the runes on the crucible scrolling across the blade, however after seeing some footage on it it was completely still, just some warping. I had replayed the game, and nowhere did the crucible runes move. Am I just stupid, or does anyone remember it differently too?
