Hey guys. Earlier this year I upgraded from my g15 Rog gaming laptop to a much newer Lenovo Legion 5 with double the ram and double the V-ram all for preparing for Doom The Dark Ages.
I replayed the first two games on this laptop. Doom 2016 was great. Doom Eternal had significant frame rate lurches from 40-140 fps which was fixed by using the Auto power mode on the laptop and turning off vsync in the Nvidia control panel.
Doom TDA is half-price on Steam at the moment, so i jumped on it and sure enough, same issue. Any ideas on whats going on? Should I be asking for a refund through Steam or taking it back to my retailer?
