Which trilogy is better? 1+2+3 or 2016+Eternal+TDA? – From /r/Doom

I know it’s almost not a fair comparison because modern graphics and physics means the newer Doom games can be a lot closer to almost virtual reality experiences compared to the old games but there are still a lot of people that prefer the classic games. So I thought Id ask yall which trilogy you think is better? Maybe we can consider the time they were released as well, or not, just empiracally which games are better, basically you can answer any way you want as long as you back it up with good points….
